
Sushi NiNi is a family-owned sushi and Japanese restaurant in Round Rock, TX, proudly serving the community since 2009. Owner Ming Chen first discovered his love for sushi while working under his uncle at the well-known Sushi Niichi near UT Austin, a restaurant beloved by many students and local guests.
After finding his passion for sushi and Japanese cuisine, Ming chose a different path from returning to a desk job at Foxconn. Instead, he and his wife, Tutu, opened Sushi NiNi together. Since then, they have cared for the restaurant with dedication, heart, and a commitment to serving high-quality food.
Over the years, Sushi NiNi has welcomed guests from Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Cedar Park, North Austin, and surrounding communities. In August 2021, the restaurant was damaged by a fire and had to close. With the support of family, staff, and loyal customers, Sushi NiNi rebuilt and reopened in June 2022. Like a phoenix, it rose and shined again.

We are proud to offer fresh sushi, sashimi, nigiri, specialty rolls, and premium selections such as bluefin tuna and Bakkafrost Scottish salmon. Our menu also features bento boxes, donburi, udon noodles, chicken wings, Japanese entrées, lunch specials, and happy hour favorites. Whether you are dining in, ordering online, or joining us for lunch or dinner, Sushi NiNi is dedicated to serving fresh, flavorful Japanese cuisine in a welcoming local atmosphere.

At Sushi NiNi, quality starts with the ingredients we choose. We source our fish and restaurant inventory from trusted, well-known suppliers such as Ocean Group, Kazy’s Gourmet, Mutual Trading, and JFC. By working with reputable sellers, we are able to serve fresh sushi, sashimi, premium fish, and Japanese dishes with the quality and consistency our guests expect.
